2022 Domaine Joseph Roty Marsannay Rosé, Burgundy, France

ABOUT THIS WINE

This dry rosé is crafted predominantly from Pinot Noir grown in the limestone-rich soils of Marsannay—the only appellation in Burgundy permitted to produce rosé at the village level. 2022 brought a warm, sunny growing season balanced by cool nights, allowing for ripe, expressive fruit while maintaining crisp acidity. Grapes are hand-harvested from mature vines and fermented at low temperatures to preserve aromatic nuance. The wine sees a short period of lees contact, adding gentle texture without overshadowing its crystalline purity.
Domaine Joseph Roty’s Marsannay Rosé is a gastronomic style, built for the table as much as for summer refreshment. It pairs effortlessly with charcuterie, Niçoise salad, grilled salmon, or roast chicken, and also complements lightly spiced Asian dishes.
