ABOUT THIS WINE
Certified organic. This is a blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 5% Carignan, 5% MourvĂšdre grown in stony and sandy terroir with terraces of round galets. The fruit is de-stemmed. Fermentation is induced using only indigenous yeast in stainless steel. The wine is then aged in new barrels for 3-4 months.

This family-run estate, located in the rosĂ©-only appellation of Tavel, produces what is widely considered (by Robert Parker, among others) to be the best Tavel available. Their Lirac Blanc â a blend of Grenache, Roussanne and Viognier â is a rich, vibrant Rhone white, with lovely honeyed and floral aromas. Their reds â including a Cotes-du-Rhone, a Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and two different Liracs â are impressively concentrated, meaty and pure Grenache-based wines that are nonetheless balanced and well-structured.
